What Is The Session About?

In today's rapidly evolving business landscape, the integration of emerging technologies is no longer a choice but a necessity for organisational survival and success. Leaders and Middle managers play a pivotal role in leading and driving transformative change in the digital age – both in assessing emerging technology trends and in optimising new technologies for workplace innovation. Take for example the convergence of AI presents both opportunities and challenges, and how might leaders leverage these advancements strategically? The navigating of this complex terrain requires a deep understanding not just of AI's potential, but the ability to evaluate emerging technology against technological trends and business requirements for potential application to the organisation’s operating environment.

This course empowers Leaders, Senior Managers, Decision-makers, Business owners, working professionals to lead digital transformation in the era of AI and where adaptation is paramount. It will equip them with knowledge and strategic insights to navigate and thrive in the rapidly evolving landscape of technology-driven change and leverage technologies effectively for organisational success.

The 3-day training programme will equip participants with the essential tools and strategies to lead amidst the disruptive forces of emerging technological trends and digital transformation. Here's the breakdown of the topics covered:

1. Identifying Emerging Technologies: Participants learn to scan the technology landscape, identify key trends, and assess their potential value for their organization's needs. Topics include emerging technologies like 5G, IoT, AI, Blockchain, Robotics, AR & VR, Cloud & Edge computing, and more.

2. Demystifying AI: Participants gain a clear understanding of AI fundamentals through demos and hands-on experience with selected tools. They explore AI applications in various sectors such as HR, Marketing, Financial services, Business functions, Manufacturing, Education, and more.

3. Evaluating the Value of Adopting Emerging Technologies: Participants learn to determine the suitability of emerging technologies for their organization through case studies and group discussions. They explore success stories, analyze stakeholder needs, evaluate technological solutions, and propose suitable solutions to meet organizational needs.

4. Applying the How of Change Management: Participants gain insights into strategic thinking, vision building, and aligning technology initiatives with organizational goals. They develop change management plans, refine them through peer consulting, and identify specific change challenges and strategies to overcome them.

Payment

Please proceed to make payment via eNets/credit card (VISA or MasterCard) at the end of the registration process. Kindly note that the system will automatically cancel the registration if full payment has not been successfully processed by 11.59pm (Singapore Time) on the same day of the registration. You will have to reapply for the course, subject to availability of vacancy at the point of your re-registration.


Additional Funding Available, If Applicable

Singaporeans aged 25 years old and above are eligible for SkillsFuture Credit which can be used to offset the selected programmes' fees for self-sponsored registrations only.


Please note the submission period for your SFC claim via MySkillsFuture needs to be within 60 days before the course start date (date inclusive). If your course start date is more than 60 days from the date of SFC application, the SSG-SFC portal would reject your application. In this case, you would need to pay the full course fees at the end of your course application.


Rescheduling

Request for rescheduling must be submitted to IAL 2 weeks before the commencement of programme. Reschedule requests that come mid-way through training has to be supported by valid reasons; substantiated by references as evidence; such as a doctor's note; or a hospitalization chit.


Please submit your request to reschedule your course at here. A non-refundable administrative fee of S$54.00 w/GST ($50) applies for the request and the next available slot will be offered


Withdrawal

Request for withdrawal from a programme is subjected to review by IAL and the decision is final. IAL reserves the right to request for supporting document(s). A non-refundable administration fee of S$54.00 w/GST ($50) is applicable for withdrawal request. If the withdrawal notice is given less than 2 weeks before the programme start date, the paid fees will not be refunded.


Corporate Run

For dedicated corporate runs with a contract signed with IAL, billing and payment will follow the terms of the signed contract. Otherwise, payment would be expected upon registration.

He routinely customises curriculum and conducts experiential workshops on Electronics Prototyping, Coding, Robotics and Drones. He is a practitioner who seamlessly integrates theoretical concepts into workshops with real-world systems designed and implemented for commercial clients. He is a workshop curator for various prototyping and robotic platforms, including Arduino, Microbit, M5Stack, Raspberry Pi and DJI RoboMaster Robots and Drones. Among other things, Ferris’ expertise lies in:
