As part of our efforts to promote more research activity, we offer research grants under the Supporting Research Grants Scheme (SRGS) to those who undertake a research project that contributes to the growth of the CET sector in Singapore.

The SRGS is open to:

• Professional adult educators and trainers in the CET sector
• CET Organisations and institutions
• Employers using CET providers or providing in-house WSQ training
• Groups or teams within the CET sector
• Collaborative partnerships of researchers in the CET sector

We invite you to submit an expression of interest by filling in the application form. For your expression of interest to be accepted, your proposed project must:

• Contribute to the growth of the CET sector in Singapore
• Be a research project

The research project of a successful applicant will receive not only funding ($5,000 to $10,000) but also the support of IAL researchers over the life of the project.

How do I apply?

The application process involves:

1. Submitting an expression of interest. Support to shape your idea into a research project is available. Please contact Ms Helen Bound at helen_bound@ial.edu.sg
2. Once your expression of interest has been accepted, you are then invited to take part in a two hour workshop to develop your full research proposal
3. Submit your full proposal
4. Successful proposers will be offered a funding contract
