
COURSE OVERVIEW
The Institute for Adult Learning, Singapore – in partnership with the Institute of Education, University of London (IOE) – is pleased to bring you the highly regarded Master of Arts in Lifelong Learning (MALLL).
The MALLL is designed to meet the needs of all CET professionals in both the public and private sectors, including those in management, development (teaching, training, coaching, mentoring) and policy-making roles.
To qualify, you should have a good first degree (or equivalent) with two or more years of relevant work experience. Applicants who do not meet these requirements can seek entry through the completion of qualifying work.
WHO WILL BENEFIT FROM THIS COURSE
Anyone who oversees educational programmes and learning-related activities in an educational institution or workplace; anyone who has to formulate or implement learning policies; anyone who designs and/or delivers formal learning programmes (e.g. courses) or informal learning activities (e.g. coaching or mentoring); anyone who needs a higher degree pathway to research in CET or lifelong learning.
PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
The Master of Arts in Lifelong Learning comprises a two-day induction workshop, four course modules and a three-day dissertation workshop.
All modules and workshops are delivered in Singapore by full-time faculty from the Institute of Education, University of London. Each of the four course modules will be conducted through an intensive one-week series of lectures and seminars.
The Institute for Adult Learning, Singapore will host the delivery of the Master of Arts in Lifelong Learning and provide participants with student support and liaison services.
