An AEN Associate will have enroled in a WSQ programme in learning and development at an accredited WSQ training provider; or can be an individual interested in the CET sector, who has not met the criteria of the other grades.
 
Member

An AEN Member will hold the minimum of a WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment or an equivalent qualification in the learning and development field. They should also have engaged in the CET sector for an aggregate period of at least 300 hours (or 40 days) over the previous year. Applications will be reviewed and approved/rejected by a committee.
 
Professional

An AEN Professional will hold either the full qualification of the WSQ Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education, or a recognised degree in the learning and development field or above. They should also have engaged in CET activities for an aggregate period of at least 300 hours (or 40 days) over the past year; with testimonials from Fellow or Professional members, or persons acceptable to the Executive Committee.

AEN Fellows are distinguished individuals who have significantly contributed to the CET sector or Adult Education profession. Fellowships are only granted through nomination. The proposer should provide citations of the candidate’s achievements, and nominate referees to satisfy that he or she will make a valuable contribution as a Fellow. This grade is conferred rarely, and kept to a small number.
