The IAL Professional Conversion Programme for Adult Educators is a 6 to 8 month commitment that offers classroom based and on-the-job training to qualify the candidate with ACTA, and give them valuable work experience in adult education and training.

Spanning 3 or 4 months, depending on qualifications, this programme equips professionals, managers, executives and technicians (PMET) with the knowledge and skills to be adult educators and WSQ trainers.

Candidates will attain the full Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) qualification from IAL, while experiencing on-the-job training at relevant training organisations.

To be eligible for this programme, applicants must have working experience in at least one of the following industries:

  1. Healthcare
  2. Workplace Safety
  3. Security
  4. Tourism
  5. Aerospace
  6. Human Resource
  7. Spa
  8. Social and Community Services
  9. Shipping/Transportation
  10. Customer Service

 

Successful enrolment for the programme is subject to the right match between the partner training organisation, the Institute for Adult Learning and the candidate.
