The 2009 Adult Learning Symposium was held from 5 to 6 November 2009. The event attracted 450 adult educators from across industries and provided a platform for sharing best practice and research in adult learning and continuing education and training. The symposium featured eminent speakers including international thought leaders in the field of Continuing Education and Training from Australia, Korea, Germany, Malaysia, the United States of America and the United Kingdom; as well as local practitioners engaged in the development and delivery of professional development programmes.

The thought-provoking presentations were the right blend of theory and practical application and garnered excellent feedback from participants who found the event an insightful and enriching experience. In addition to the learning and discussion opportunities in the plenary and workshop sessions, participants also expressed that they enjoyed the diversity of their fellow participants and the ample networking opportunities that the symposium provided.

The next Adult Learning Symposium will be held on 28 and 29 October 2010. We look forward to your participation.
