Developing a successful and effective workforce requires support for workers at both an individual and a group level. Coaching is a powerful process which can be used to foster an engaged and motivated workforce by enabling employees to develop their skills effectively. Learn how to harness coaching techniques to offer greater value to your learners, by encouraging a desire for professional and personal growth.

This is a fully online session conducted via ZOOM.  Participants can participate in the session from any venue of their convenience with a laptop / device that is compatible with ZOOM.  More details on participating in the session will be send to the confirmed registrants.

What is this programme about?

Unleashing the potential of any team starts with empowering individuals to learn better, rather than teaching them. The ability to coach staff and employees is one of the characteristics of great managers, line leaders, and learning and development professionals. Coaching is grounded in the idea that learners, organisations, and clients want to perform to higher standards — to progress from where they are now to where they want to be in both professional and personal lives.

Coaching is a powerful process that supports ACTA/ACLP graduates aiming to offer greater value to learners, clients, and their community, and in-house learning and development professionals who want to add value to their organisation. Learning how to coach provides insights into unlocking the innate potential of individuals and groups, allowing them to tap into optimal thinking and performance processes.

This interactive one-day workshop builds on ACLP Module 4 (Workplace Learning & Coaching) to help you deepen your skills in workplace coaching. You will come to understand why the coaching approach is a powerful enabler when engaging employees and improving organisational performance, and learn how to use a structured process when coaching individuals and teams. This session includes hands-on practice in developing coaching skills, including the most effective questions to ask when coaching someone, and simulated coaching practice. By the end of this session, you will be equipped to develop an engaged and innovative workforce who bring their best to work, contribute ideas, and help the organisation to succeed and win.
