Sharon Quek

Principal Manager


Sharon assumes the role of Publishing Editor for IAL’s research publications, on top of profiling and supporting RID’s research review and evaluation as well as communicating its impact to different stakeholders. 


Sharon has been an educator for more than 20 years in Singapore and had trained pre-service and in-service teachers at National Institute of Education (NIE) prior to joining IAL. She has had experience in working with teachers to do research on metacognition, knowledge co-construction and pedagogical implementation that focused on interdisciplinary cyber-based learning, differentiated instruction, scaffolding, effective communication skills and assessment. 


Sharon holds a Bachelor-of-Arts Degree (Education) and a Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Education) from Nanyang Technological University, and a Degree of Master-of-Arts (English Studies) from National University of Singapore.
