A research study funded by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG)

The Institute for Adult Learning is conducting a national Training and Adult Education (TAE) Landscape Study 2022 to gather information about the organisations and professionals working in the TAE sector.

This current project, TAE Landscape 2022, is the second iteration of the TAE Landscape series and seeks to collect the latest data about the TAE sector from 2021 to 2023, e.g. changes in the profile of TAE organisations and professionals, TAE jobs and skills, as well as developments in TAE business and practice in relation to pedagogical innovation, business innovation, productivity, digitalisation and internationalization. This project will be conducted in 3 phases.

 Case study of training providers

  Phase 2

  (Dec 2021 - Jul 2022)

Survey of training providers, adult educators and TAE professionals

  Phase 3

  (Nov 2022 - Jun 2023)

Follow up interviews and focus group discussions

Call for Participants to Phase 2 Survey

We invite organisations and professionals that provide adult continuing education and training as a main business in Singapore to participate in the survey, including:

Training organisations: public, private and in-house training providers, EdTech companies that offer training/learning content, Corporate University/Academy and new or emerging players in the TAE sector.

Adult Educators: trainers, learning facilitators, assessors, curriculum designers, courseware developers, learning consultants and solutionists.

Other TAE professionals: training managers, human resource developers, learning technology designers, TAE business developers, training administrators and operation support staff.

Once you've registered your interest, one of our field representatives from Beacon Consulting will approach you to conduct the survey interview in the next few weeks. It will take you about 60 minutes to complete all the questions. At the end of the survey, you will receive a S$50 NTUC Fairprice e-voucher in appreciation of your time and efforts in participating in the survey.

As we believe that you and your organisation may be interested to understand the most cutting-edge practices in the TAE sector, we will be pleased to share with you and your colleagues the findings as follows:

·        Seminars, webinars and roundtables based on the research findings
·        Access to written reports and other publications
