Following the announcement of the tightened measures that will take effect from 8 to 30 May, please note that there will be no changes to the lesson delivery modes for IAL learners.
IAL will continue to adopt a cautious approach in our mode of training delivery to safeguard the well-being of our learners, adult educators and staff, while ensuring that learning is optimal.
Our training, coaching and assessment sessions continue to be conducted mostly online, with the exception of certain skills-based segments that will be conducted face-to-face in IAL on selected day(s). This is applicable for the following programmes:
Strict adherence to safe management measures will be observed for lessons that are conducted on campus. Current learners may refer to their training schedules and past advisories for upcoming lessons. New and current learners will be kept posted on any updates to class arrangements post May through email channels and via the IAL website.
Learners attending face-to-face classes must adhere to the safe management/ social distancing measures, travel and close contact declaration requirements. The full list of applicable precautionary measures can be found below.
Learners must complete the travel and close contact declaration form available below, before coming to IAL for class.
All visitors to IAL are required to undergo temperature screening and check in and out via the SafeEntry system at the various entry points within the Lifelong Learning Institute (main entrance at Level 1) and in the IAL premises (entrances at Level 5, 6 and 7). Visitors are also encouraged to turn on your mobile phone’s Bluetooth and TraceTogether app, or carry around your TraceTogether token at all times.
