Precautionary Measures

(Updated 9 April 2020, Risk Assessment: DORSCON ORANGE)

Important Information for IAL Learners

On 3 April 2020, the Government has announced stricter measures to reduce the risk of local spread of COVID-19. IAL has since tightened our measures correspondingly while continuing our education services. Our priority is to keep our learners, adult educators and staff safe, whilst helping our learners stay on track with their learning with minimal disruption. From 7 April 2020, all classes, assessments and workshops will be conducted online till further notice.

For IAL Visitors

(i) Temperature Taking

All learners and visitors are required to undergo temperature screening at Level 1 (Lobby A) of the Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI). All other entry points within the building will not be accessible and all visitors who park at the LLI building will be redirected to Level 1 for temperature screening.

There will be a second temperature screening for all learners and visitors entering IAL and iN.LAB premises, at Levels 5 and 7 respectively.

(ii) Stay-Home-Notice (SHN)

From 20 March 2020, 2359 hours, all Singaporeans, Permanent Residents and Long Term Pass holders entering Singapore will be issued a 14-day Stay-Home Notice (SHN).

Under the SHN, returnees will have to remain in their place of residence at all times during the 14-day period.
