Chef Richard started off his culinary career pursuing a diploma with At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy whilst interning in Hilton Singapore. Upon graduation, he was recruited by Crown Macau as a Chef de Partie. Following his return back to Singapore, he started his own eatery along Bukit Timah Road and operated for a couple of years. Having gained a certain following for his creations, especially for his range of desserts, he also started online sales with some success.
He has been teaching WSQ culinary/pastry programs for the past 5 years. Among the culinary institutions that he has taught at include At-Sunrice GlobalChef, Asian Culinary Institute (ACI) and Eduquest International Institute for inmates in Changi Prison Service.
