Collaborative Spaces

 

Overview


iN.LAB is an innovative facility, located at the Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) at 11 Eunos Road 8, where the continuing education and training (CET) community could come together to explore, collaborate and contribute to learning innovations.


The Collaborative Spaces is open-concept workspace which can be configured to accommodate between 10 – 20 persons in one area, or smaller areas accommodating 2-3 persons. The space can be used for collaboration and networking and is ideal for collaborators to design, develop and test learning innovations. 

 

a) Learning centres (LCs), at levels 5 and 6;

b) Networking space (i.e. “Pit Stop + Open Space”) at levels 5 and 6


The rental of iN.LAB facilities will only be available during weekdays and on a first-come-first serve basis for activities that are aligned to iN.LAB’s objectives. 

Rentals timeslots of these spaces are as follow:

  • Half Day – 8.30 am to 12.30 pm [Morning slot] or 1.30 pm to 5.30 pm [Afternoon slot]

  • Full Day – 8.30 am to 5.30 pm [Day slot]

Learning Centres


We have spaces designed for training delivery and facilitation. These include configurable rooms for seminars, workshops, talks and small group consultations.

Note:

(+)     Each learning centre allows for flexible configurations to meet the training requirements of arrangement into clusters, classroom, theatre, boardroom or U-shaped style sitting.

(^)     The rates listed are pre-GST rates. iN.LAB reserves the right to review charges and adjust where necessary.


(*)       Catalyst and Discovery rooms are adjacent to one and another and could be merged into one bigger room, where needed.


Equipment Available in Learning Centres (LC)

All the LCs come with short-throw overhead projector, wireless access, cables for laptop connection, sound system, magnetic white boards, tables, chairs, and stationeries.

Smart Board, microphone - wireless and cordless will only be made available subject to availability.

Catering of Refreshments (Snack and Lunch)


Any catering of food and refreshments shall be the responsibility of, and shall be organised by the Clients who have successfully rented the facilities.   The Clients shall inform iN.LAB staff the name of the catering company and set-up time for their event. The set-up shall be confined to the breakout areas only.


Only bottled drinking water can be brought into the LCs and all other food and drinks should only be consumed in the breakout areas. To better serve the learners, iN.LAB has also made available free hot / cold beverages at the breakout areas of levels 5 and 6. 


After the conclusion of each event, clients are to ensure that their caterer(s) dismantle and clean up the refreshment areas.

 

Restoration of Rented Facilities

 

All rented facilities should be restored to the original condition that was handed over to them at the start of the rental period.  This includes removal of all materials and paraphernalia brought in by users.  All equipment in the facility should be handled with due care and any damage will have to be made good by the users.
