Workfare Training Support Scheme

The Workfare Training Support (WTS) scheme has been replaced by Workfare Skills Support (WSS) since 1 Jul 2020. There will no longer be any course fee subsidies under the new WSS.

SkillsFuture Funding

SkillsFuture Credit (SFC)

  • Only self-sponsored Singapore Citizens can use SFC to pay for their course fee (in part or in full). Please click here to check the course's eligibility before applying.

  • Learners whose course fees are paid by their company are not allowed to later switch to self-sponsored status using their SFC funding.

  • SFC is for course fees only. Application fee and all other payments should be made via eNets or credit card (VISA/MasterCard).

  • SFC is only claimable within 60 days before the course start date (date inclusive).
  • MySkillsFuture will reject your SFC claim if the course start date is more than 60 days from the date of your submission. You would need to pay for the full course fees in other modes of payment in such a case.
  • Select the on-screen prompt at the end of your registration via MyIAL to use SFC Credit.
  • You cannot use the additional SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career Support) of $500 available from 1 Oct 2020 for IAL courses as our courses currently do not fall under the 'Career Transition Programmes' category.
  • Please click here for more information on SFC.
  • Please click here for the SFC claim User Guide.
  • Learners whose course fees are paid by their company are not allowed to switch to self-sponsored status later using SFC.

SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy (MCES)

Singapore Citizens aged 40 years old and above can receive up to 90% funding for programme fees of supported programmes.

Please click here for more information on MCES.

Post-Secondary Education Account

Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA)

Singapore Citizens may use funds in their Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) to pay for their eligible WSQ courses (in part or in full) before they reach 31 years old.

To register for IAL courses using PSEA:

  1.  Log in to MyIAL to register for your preferred schedule. However, do NOT proceed to ‘payment’.

  2.  Please call the 24-hour automated PSEA hotline at 62600777 to check your fund balance (which is updated every Wednesday).

  3. Click here to submit an adhoc PSEA withdrawal application from your own account.

  4. If you plan to use a sibling’s PSEA account or you are a guardian, click here to download the application form, fill it out and submit it to noreply-psea@suss.edu.sg

  5. An IAL staff will contact you when there is any balance payment to be made via bank transfer.

  6. Your application must be complete on the same day of registration by 5:00 pm (Singapore Time) Monday to Friday except for public holidays. Otherwise, the system will cancel your enrolment.

  7. Your enrolment will be cancelled should your PSEA application be rejected. You will need to re-register for the course using other modes of payment, subject to availability at the time of re-registration.
