The Institute for Adult Learning (Singapore), partnering Griffith University (Australia), has launched the new Master of Learning and Professional Development (MLPD) programme in February 2020. This new programme is developed in tandem with the evolving Training and Adult Education (TAE) sector needs, and offers an educational pathway for industry practitioners and TAE professionals who are seeking to develop and lead provisions of Continuing Education and Training (CET).
The MLPD programme will strengthen and deepen learners’ knowledge and skills in the fields of Adult Learning, CET, and Professional Development by drawing on learners' existing vocational knowledge and practice to build capacities for leadership, innovation and professional work. The programme aims to realise this through the broadening and deepening of learners' theoretical, practical and research-based knowledge and skills, with identification of how these may be applied to their workplace, organisation or educational institution setting.
