What is this programme about?

As the CET landscape matures, adult education is becoming less about classroom transactions – the passing of knowledge and skills - and much more about varied learning contexts where diverse stakeholders interact in relational ways that generate impactful and sustainable learning. As orchestrators of learning, how can we enable this? We know that mindset is key – our own and that or our learners. Are we aware of our own mindset and how it shows up in what we say and do? How can seeing ourselves as instruments for change help us to catalyse sustainable change in others?

In answering these questions, the course incorporates active learning strategies where learners reflect, interact, experiment and practice. Participants will need to design and facilitate a learning experience that demonstrates their ability to apply self to catalyse change in others. Peer reviews provide constructive feedback in a supportive, non-threatening environment.

This 3 day ourse is aligned with the IAL vision and mission to increase TAE capability in the design and implementation of effective learning.
