What is this programme about?

One of the common digital learning strategies used by companies is the adoption of instructor-led virtual classroom learning to complement face to face instructor-led learning engagement. Most L&D practitioners are familiar with using webinars to share knowledge. But for instructor-led virtual classroom learning to be successful in achieving the targeted learning and performance outcomes, there has to be a differentiated approach towards the design and delivery of the learning solution with the right learning technology platform being used.

This session will enable the L&D practitioners to recognise the need to adopt a differentiated approach in deploying virtual classroom learning through understanding the concept, methodology, tools and techniques required to select suitable learning technology platforms (e.g. Zoom, Webex, Adobe Connect, etc) to facilitate different types of virtual learning e.g. webinars from formal virtual classroom learning e.g. workshops, etc.

What does it cover?

  • Define what is Virtual classroom learning
  • Explain the difference between Virtual classroom and Webinars as learning delivery modes
  • State the benefits, features and functionalities of Virtual classroom learning platforms
  • Identify the technical requirements and considerations for virtual classroom delivery
  • Apply the methodology for design and delivery of Virtual classroom learning
  • Explore the functionalities of a virtual classroom environment with Webex/Adobe Connect
  • Identify and evaluate the readiness requirement for self and the organisation to deliver Virtual classroom learning
  • Identify next steps in building the capabilities to design, develop and deliver Instructor led virtual classroom learning
