What is this programme about?

 

Industry Transformation Maps (ITMs) have been launched since 2016 as a national initiative to drive economic restructuring across 23 priority sectors (cumulatively accounting for 80% of Singapore’s GDP) to boost industry productivity and growth. There will be a huge market potential for ITM solutioning services for the years to come.  How can the AEN community contribute as ‘ITM Enablers’ to help enterprises across the 23 priority sectors unpack and implement the ITMs aligned with business goals?

The key objective of this Industry Transformation Vanguard (ITV) Programme Series is to deepen the AEN community’s capabilities to undertake enterprise solutioning to enhance enterprise performance based on the ITM’s four focal pillars - (1) Jobs & Skills (2) Productivity (3) Innovation and (4) Internationalisation to enhance enterprise performance

This programme will comprise the following modules:

The programme aims to share an accelerated solutioning methodology for enterprise performance, as well as the contextualisation and implementation of each of the four ITM focal pillars through collaborative learning among the participants of the AEN community.

 

What does it cover?

 

At the end of the session, learners will be able to:

  • Elaborate list of JIT solutions using 4W1H
  • Facilitate enterprise’s selection of JIT solution(s) by presenting top-line information of each Jobs and Skills solution
  • Facilitate implementation of selected JIT solutions with enterprise stakeholders according to implementation roadmap
  • Conduct outcome evaluation to assess impact of selected JIT solutions based on outcome evaluation framework designed during pre-implementation phase
  • Report on outcome evaluation findings and recommend areas for improvement to enterprise stakeholders

 

Who is it suitable for?

 

This programme is for professionals in:

A.      Jobs & Skills and Human Capital Development: possesses practicing experience over the last 3 years in Human Capital Development for enterprises (including those in the Training and Adult Education business);

B.      Business & Learning Performance Solutioning: possesses practicing experience over the last 3 years in business and learning performance consultancy/ solutioning for enterprises (including those in the Training and Adult Education business), and is keen to understand more on how the ‘Jobs and Skills’ solutions under the ITM can help enhance business performance;

C.     Productivity Improvement: possesses practicing experience over the last 3 years in productivity improvement related work for enterprises (including those in the Training and Adult Education business), and is keen to understand more on how the ‘Jobs and Skills’ solutions under the ITM can help enhance business performance;

D.     Innovation & Change: possesses practicing experience over the last 3 years in facilitating innovation process and managing change across manufacturing/ service environments for enterprises (including those in the Training and Adult Education business), and is keen to understand more on how the ‘Jobs and Skills’ solutions under the ITM can help enhance business performance;

E.      Business Support: possesses practicing experience over the last 3 years in business support roles e.g. grants application/processing, account management, business development, etc. for enterprises (including those in the Training and Adult Education business), and is keen to understand more on how the ‘Jobs and Skills’ solutions under the ITM can help enhance business performance;

F.      Executive and Management staff undertaking L&D work in enterprises who are keen to understand how the ‘Jobs and Skills’ solutions under the ITM can help enhance business performance; &

G.     Anyone who is active in the Training and Adult Education who are keen to understand more and deepen capabilities in ‘Jobs & Skills’ solutioning based on the ITM.

Note: Learners who fall under the profiles A to E will be given priority consideration to be deployed for enterprise solutioning projects as and when available after completion of this programme.

The 90% course fee discount for CPD programmes is only applicable to an AEN Member who is either a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident. Foreigners will not be entitled to this discount even if they are AEN members.

Programme fee covers training and assessment. The fee is inclusive of prevailing GST and subject to changes.

Additional funding assistance, if applicable

Singaporeans aged 25 years old and above are eligible for SkillsFuture Credit which can be used to offset the selected programmes’ fees for self-sponsored registrations only.

 

About the speaker

William Thien (Mr)

Principal Consultant / Master Trainer | EON Consulting & Training Pte Ltd

 

William is a consultant and trainer with over 20 years of experience.  He is a certified Practicing Management Consultant (PMC, Bilingual in English and Chinese), Certified Productivity Consultant (CPC), Associate Consultant with the Singapore Productivity Centre, a member of the Institute of Management Consultants (Singapore) and the Singapore Productivity Association.  

William has been actively involved in training and equipping HR practitioners in various industries on the use and application of the Skills Frameworks to enhance professional development and HR practices in their enterprises.  As a consultant, his work reflects his wide and in-depth hands-on experience in human resource management.
