Course Overview

The WSQ Graduate Diploma in Workplace Learning (GDWPL) empowers you to become a well-rounded workplace learning expert. This comprehensive programme equips you with the technical skills to diagnose organisational needs, develop customised learning strategies, implement frameworks, and manage quality assurance. 


Beyond these technical expertise, the programme fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration through our DOCIE framework, preparing you to navigate challenges, analyse complex situations, integrate knowledge from diverse fields, and deliver impactful learning solutions in collaboration with businesses.


Upon completion of the programme, you will be issued with a WSQ Graduate Diploma in Workplace Learning from SkillsFuture Singapore which can be obtained through MySkillsFuture Portal. 

Modules

The WSQ Graduate Diploma in Workplace Learning is a hybrid learning model with Classroom & Synchronous learning format. This WSQ Graduate Diploma in Workplace Learning comprises 5 modules with a total duration of 138 hours.


30 hours

This module aims at guiding individuals through diagnosing organisational issues, proposing solutions, and implementing changes effectively. They cover understanding trends and tools for diagnosis, assessing current states, proposing actionable suggestions, managing stakeholders, and driving implementation aligned with organisational culture and readiness for change.

This module aims at helping individuals develop effective organisational change management strategies. They cover creating holistic policies by integrating frameworks and industry best practices, selecting performance indicators for evaluation, sustaining a business-oriented perspective during implementation, crafting strategic plans, aligning strategies with organisational culture and stakeholder interests, creating an environment for change, formulating key communication messages, establishing financial parameters, and developing resource acquisition plans for successful implementation.

24 hours


This module looks at guiding individuals in using the Skills Framework to boost business performance and retain talent. They start by aligning organisational priorities with national agendas, then set clear goals and targets based on strategic objectives. Afterward, they tailor the Skills Framework to fit the organisation's needs, secure support from leaders, and assess its impact. Finally, they continuously improve by analysing risks and refining strategies to stay aligned with organisational goals.

This module targets at enabling individuals in creating learning strategies that align with organisational goals. They begin by understanding how learning strategies impact business objectives and then integrate best practices and market trends to engage learners effectively. They also consider economic factors to ensure adaptability to market conditions and determine how to adopt learning technology effectively. Furthermore, they establish criteria to measure strategy effectiveness and manage internal learning capabilities. Lastly, they drive the reformulation and integration of learning strategies using suitable frameworks and tools.

This module focuses on establishing and evaluating quality assurance frameworks aligned with organisational objectives. Firstly, individuals develop quality assurance philosophies and principles in line with the organisation's vision and goals, drawing upon strategies for their design. They then assess the impact of industry best practices and emerging trends on quality assurance policies and systems, considering implications and evaluating these policies' effects on business performance. Lastly, they apply continuous improvement principles to refine quality assurance policies, overseeing model selection and endorsing recommendations for enhancement.

Entry Requirements

  • Qualification with a specialisation AND
  • At least 5 years of TAE/L&D working experience OR at least 10 years of working experience with appropriate subject matter specialisation and industry experience

  • Applicants are responsible for preparing and submitting the relevant documentations pertaining to the programme Entry Requirements upon enrolment.


  • Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements or fail to submit the required documents will be withdrawn from the programme and notified two weeks before the course commencement date.

Completion Requirements

  • Learners are required to meet a minimum attendance of 75% per programme module
  • Attain a "C" (Competent) grade for all modules. In lieu of a "Competent" grade, a credit exemption issued for that module is also acceptable

  • For each module, you must achieve at least 75% attendance, and successfully attain a ‘Competent’ (C) grading for the final assessment result.

SkillsFuture Credit

  • Only self-sponsored learners can use SkillsFuture Credit.
  • You can use SkillsFuture Credit, SkillsFuture Credit Top-Up to offset the fees. Please note that SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career Support) is not applicable.

Mandatory e-Attendance via Singpass App from 1 October 2023

  • Singaporean Citizens/Permanent Residents are required to set up your Singpass account and download the Singpass App prior to course commencement.
  • Learners will have to submit a reschedule request, with an applicable fee, if they are unable to do so.
  • Please be present in class (physical and online) 15 minutes before the scheduled lesson time on the actual day and have the following ready:
    1. Smart device (e.g., smartphone or iPad) with a functioning camera.
    2. Singpass mobile app installed on the smart device.
    3. Login credentials for the Singpass App. 

Payment Advisory 

You will be required to make the course fee payment via eNets/credit card (VISA or MasterCard) and/or SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) - (applicable for self-sponsored learners) at the end of the registration process. Please note that the system will automatically cancel the registration if full payment (including SFC, where applicable) has not been successfully processed by 11.59pm (Singapore Time) on the same day of the registration. You will have to reapply for the course, subject to seat availability at the point of re-registration.

The programme is designed for professionals who play a pivotal role in strengthening employee capability and performance, notably those in training and adult education, human resources, learning & development and organisational development. It is also for experienced adult educators who are looking to expand their expertise to provide workplace learning consultancy to enterprises. The latter group includes faculty members in Institutes of Higher Learnings, and should already have a solid foundation in adult learning.
