More information on Graduate Diploma in Workplace Learning (GDWPL)
The programme is designed for professionals who play a pivotal role in strengthening employee capability and performance, notably those in training and adult education, human resources, learning & development and organisational development. It is also for experienced adult educators who are looking to expand their expertise to provide workplace learning consultancy to enterprises. The latter group includes faculty members in Institutes of Higher Learnings, and should already have a solid foundation in adult learning.
The GDWPL programme will benefit learners by developing their skills in diagnosing organisational needs, creating customised change management strategies, adopting skills frameworks, and managing quality assurance. It will prepare professionals for workplace learning projects and support enterprises through learning solutions to enhance workplace capabilities.

This is a blended learning model with classroom & synchronous learning format.
Assessment methods may include written assignments and oral presentations.
There is no exemption for this programme currently.
The course is currently being offered at the programme level and learners would be required to take all the modules as according to the programme schedule of the particular intake.
Each module is designed to be independent in its content. The course design allows flexibility and also non-sequential learning which enables learners to relate to their workplace and apply based on their organisational needs. This will not have any impact on the overall understanding or application of the content.
Learners are strongly encouraged to find their own enterprise. If they are unable to do so, they will work on a provided case-study (real/simulated) instead.
The Certificate in Certified Workplace Learning Specialist (CWLS) programme is a generalist certification, while the Graduate Certificate in Workplace Learning (GCWPL) and WSQ Graduate Diploma in Workplace Learning (GDWPL) are more specialised.
GCWPL is a SUSS-conferred Graduate Certificate at the postgraduate level. It consists of two modules totaling 98 hours and does not issue any Statements of Attainment (SOAs). In contrast, the WSQ Graduate Diploma is aligned with the national credential system and is part of the WSQ qualification levels. It is more rigorous, comprising five modules with a total of 138 hours. Upon completion, individuals receive six SOAs and the WSQ certificate.
