Achievements
Following the implementation of the workplace transformation project, our PREs were able to successfully:- Carry out tasks without supervision ahead of target time (i.e., in 6 weeks instead of the targeted 8 weeks.)
- Gain the necessary skills they needed in 2 months through the aid of an effective workplace learning curriculum
- The workplace buddies of our PRE learners also played a major role in ensuring the success of the project, as they helped to ensure that tasks were not missed out.
All of these wouldn’ t have been possible without a dedicated project team, and the aid from NACE@IAL and our appointed workplace learning consultant. The learners were also appreciative of the fact that all the skills they needed to learn were communicated clearly to them.
"We partnered with IAL to develop a workplace learning curriculum to support our patient relations executives driving towards upskilling. This will greatly speed up the onboarding process for our new hires, allowing them to perform their daily objectives within two months without any supervision. DP Dental believes that all companies can and should invest in and will benefit from upskilling their workforce."
- Ms. Louisa Lee, Managing Director
"The journey was certainly an insightful and fulfilling experience. The workplace learning project has definitely boosted the confidence of our Patient Relations executives (PREs), and increased awareness of our customer-centric SOPs and guides, thereby enabling our PREs to deliver a wholesome experience for our patients the moment they step foot within our clinics."
- Mr. Ignatius Tham, Operations Manager
Who We Are
We are an enterprise looking to revolutionise healthcare by bringing health and wellness. We envision a world where healthy individuals would have their health issues resolved through prevention and early intervention, allowing for resources to be spent in the optimisation of human potential. In order to meet our goals, we embarked on a workplace learning consultancy project with NACE@IAL to aid our employees, especially the patient relations executives (PREs), in reaching their fullest potential.Challenges
While our journey was a meaningful and memorable one, we faced challenges along the way which was no surprise as challenges are expected in any new experience. The Covid-19 situation is an example of a challenge that this world and businesses all have collectively faced, and we are no exception. Due to the pandemic, we were unable to meet the people involved in the implementation of the workplace learning plan. However, this issue was resolved by replacing face-to-face meetings with online meetings. Despite face-to-face sessions being made impossible; we were still able to work things out and achieve numerous successes through this meaningful workplace transformation project.
