What Is This Session About?
Participants will apply the 60-Second Relevance Test to move lessons from being generic to specific, anchoring learning in real-world roles, data, and artefacts. Through a Deconstruction-to-Reconstruction methodology, you will analyse a generic lesson scenario (S1) and reconstruct it into an ITR-aligned activity (S2). You will leave the session with ready-to-use templates, a redesigned activity, and a bank of sector-specific scenarios to ensure your training stays ahead of industry needs
What Does The Session Cover?
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to apply contextualisation principles, analyse lessons for industry-relevance gaps (S1), and adapt learning activities to specific ITR sector scenarios (S2).

About the Speaker
Yeoh Hui Ling (Ms)
Adjunct Adult Educator
Hui Ling is an experienced healthcare educator who has developed and facilitated community and healthcare-related workshops and courses in the community, healthcare institutions, and private training providers. She is fascinated by the perspectives shared by learners from diverse backgrounds, which include caregivers, migrant workers, senior citizens, community volunteers, healthcare students, healthcare professionals, ancillary support staff, and members of the public. She believes in Confucius teaching: ‘When three people walk together, there must be one who can be my teacher.’ During the darkest moments of various endemic and pandemics, the struggles and resiliency shown by the patients, caregivers, healthcare workers, cleaners, and all uniformed personnel truly humbled her.
Hui Ling is currently an adjunct facilitator and skills assessor at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (Nanyang Technological University), adjunct nursing facilitator at Parkway College (IHH), adjunct life support instructor at National University Singapore, Thomson Medical Centre, Ren Ci Community Hospital, and private training providers.
