What Is The Session About?

As Southeast Asia’s largest economy and one of the most dynamic sustainability frontiers, Indonesia presents rich opportunities for adult educators and consultants looking to make a meaningful cross-border impact. From ESG integration and green workforce development to inclusive education and enterprise support, Indonesia’s national priorities align well with Singapore’s capabilities in learning and consulting.

This curated session by the SIG on Internationalisation for Sustainability at the Institute for Adult Learning (IAL) provides a strategic lens on entering the Indonesian market with a consulting mindset. Featuring a guest expert with direct experience in Indonesia, participants will gain insights into the local business culture, regulatory landscape, and emerging sustainability priorities.

Through a blend of dialogue, case insights, and practical guidance, the session aims to help Singapore-based adult educators position their offerings for strategic relevance and sustainable collaboration in Indonesia.
