Skills Badges
Skills Badges
At the Institute for Adult Learning, we recognise practice currency, experience and quality in the form of digital credentials such as skills badges (tied to credit exemption to the WSQ Advanced Certificate for Learning and Performance (ACLP)) through demonstrating your skills and competencies through authenticated practice evidence.
Attain 6 skills badges tagged to ACLP credit exemption modules that are available for application under the Skills Badges pathway which automatically qualify for the equivalent module credit exemption for WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP).
Skills badges can only be earned through showcasing your competence through practice. Completion of formal and informal programmes or applying for credit exemption through the Qualification Track will NOT automatically qualify you for the skills badge without producing authenticated work practice.Gain digital credentials in the form of skills badges and credit exemption to the Advanced Certificate for Learning and Performance through demonstrating your skills and competencies through your practice evidence.
IMPORTANT: For applications received after 1 Oct 2023, all Skills Badges awarded from OSSC will not be accompanied by Credit Exemptions of ACLP v1.0 modules. Credit Exemptions for ACLP modules are under review and will be updated as soon as possible. Current Skills Badges will be transitioned to the new Credit Exemptions upon update.
