Moving beyond the basics, this workshop empowers managers to confidently tackle the real complexities of developing people in a challenging environment. It's a must-attend event because it provides concrete strategies and practical exercises for addressing difficult conversations, such as underperformance.

You will learn to tailor your coaching to different individuals, offering practical methods to embed coaching within a culturally diverse context. This includes demonstrating how to utilise the OSCAR approach to conduct more effective meetings, coach individuals through change, reduce stress, enhance emotional intelligence, and raise awareness about transactional analysis (TA) patterns that occur.

This programme aims to strengthen learners' coaching skills and their use of these skills to improve workplace performance. The main goal is to equip managers with strategies and confidence to handle challenging situations, such as underperformance, effectively, and to customise their coaching approach based on different levels of team member competence and commitment.

Participants will examine practical methods for fostering a coaching culture in their daily interactions and team processes.

Louise YT Phua is a Corporate Trainer and Advocate of Longevity and Wellbeing. By bringing clarity, calm, confidence, courage , and compassion, she aids young executives and middle managers who work in corporate environments to unlock bottlenecks and make progress. By integrating various teaching and learning methodologies, she triggers her learners to begin their learning journey and take steps to realise their future selves.

With over twenty years’ experience in talent management at multi-national companies and major conglomerates in Asia Pacific, Louise has conducted learning workshops with Harry’s, LVMH Group, National University of Singapore, National University Health System, Parkway Health Group, Sephora China, Singapore Management University, Singapore University of Social Sciences (Institute for Adult Learning), Swire Hotel Group China, Temasek Polytechnic, UOE Group and more.
