Areas of Expertise: Learning Practice, Assessment, Evaluation & Quality

Clauderlene Tan is a Learning Innovation Advocate whose interdisciplinary practice spans museum curation, adult education, and workplace learning. Drawing on 29 years of experience across heritage institutions, polytechnic teaching, and skills development, she brings a curatorial sensibility to the design of learning experiences — selecting, contextualising, and shaping knowledge so it lands with precision and purpose. A specialist in curriculum design for transformative learning experiences, she currently bridges innovation programme development and international projects at the Institute for Adult Learning (IAL) in Singapore, working at the intersection of workplace learning, learning innovation, and cross-cultural knowledge transfer. She is particularly interested in how adult learning ecosystems can be built to endure beyond any single intervention.
