Dr Silin Yang is Deputy Director (Centre for Skills-First Practices) at the Institute for Adult Learning, Singapore University of Social Sciences, where she leads the centre’s research and analytics.
A strategist in workforce and skills development, Dr Yang drives skills-first initiatives and specialises in turning data on skills demand and supply into actionable insights for enterprise and workforce transformation. Her research spans skills-first practices, labour issues, and organisational transformation.
She is the founding editor of the Singapore Labour Journal, serves on advisory boards, and is a frequent speaker at local and international platforms. Dr Yang also contributes regularly to research and policy discourse on skills, work, and labour issues.
