Megan is a quantitative researcher at the Institute for Adult Learning (IAL), Research Division, where she focuses on jobs, skills and training research to inform policy making and workforce decisions. Her research operates at both the international and local level, leveraging the International Survey of Adult Skills (PIAAC) for cross-country comparisons, the Skills and Learning (SLS) study to understand Singapore's skills landscape, and the Training and Adult Education Landscape 3 (TAE3) study to examine the evolution and future-readiness of the training and adult education sector in Singapore.
Prior to joining IAL, she worked at Genome Institute of Singapore (GIS), A*STAR as a bioinformatics specialist in data analytics and machine learning, with research centred on de novo genome assembly.
Megan holds a BSc in Mathematical Sciences from Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
