Ricky Chew is a workplace learning specialist with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating learning solutions that enhance business performance and workforce capability. He has led and delivered workplace learning consultancy projects across sectors, including automation, aviation, and manufacturing. Currently with IAL’s CWLI, Ricky focuses on supporting enterprises in strengthening their workplace learning ecosystems through strategic learning design, capability development, and workplace transformation initiatives. His consultancy expertise spans Learning Needs Analysis, job and task analysis, competency mapping, OJT blueprint development, job redesign, performance support implementation, and the establishment of structured training and evaluation systems. Ricky holds a Master of Maintenance and Reliability Engineering and a Master of Education (Mathematics). He is a certified Reliability Engineer and holds certificates in GDWpL, ACTA, and DACE. Leveraging a multidisciplinary background, he integrates engineering thinking, quality management, design thinking, and adult learning principles to deliver practical, business-aligned workplace learning solutions.
