Content Architect with Google AI: Crafting High-Impact Learning Resources

Educators are increasingly expected to create high-quality learning resources at speed, yet AI-generated content requires careful evaluation to ensure instructional quality, relevance, and credibility.

This intermediate programme equips adult educators and workplace learning professionals to move beyond simply generating content towards designing purposeful, learner-centred resources using Google AI tools. Participants apply instructional design principles while learning to curate information, critically evaluate AI outputs, and create multimodal learning resources aligned with workplace needs. Through guided practice, authentic design activities, and the development of an AI-assisted resource library, learners strengthen their ability to make informed design decisions rather than rely on AI-generated first drafts.

By the end of the programme, participants will be able to produce accurate, engaging, and workplace-ready learning resources that support effective learning and can be confidently applied within their own professional contexts.

Together with Experience Designer with Google AI: Reimagining Learning and Assessment, this programme forms the intermediate tier of the IAL-Google (ADAPT) series. Participants who complete both programmes will receive a joint IAL-Google certificate.

This is not a content-generation course; it is a resource design course where AI is treated as an aid to curation, evaluation, and instructional decision-making. Building on foundational tool familiarity, participants apply established instructional design principles alongside Gemini Deep Research, NotebookLM, Google Vids, and Gemini Canvas to design, curate, and create learning materials that are evidence-based and learner-centred.

What makes this course valuable is its disciplined approach: participants learn to evaluate AI-generated content critically and to make deliberate design decisions rather than accept first drafts. Through hands-on creation across multiple formats, participants leave with practical, repeatable AI-assisted resource-creation workflows they can apply confidently within their own workplace learning and educational contexts.
