What Is This Session About?
Step into the future of education! "Tech-Enhanced Learning: Essential Frameworks" equips educators with the tools and knowledge to revolutionise their teaching practices. In a world rapidly transformed by artificial intelligence, this workshop provides a crucial roadmap for integrating technology, including AI-powered tools for engagement, representation, and action and expression, responsibly and effectively. We'll explore essential frameworks like SAMR, TPACK, and UDL, reimagined for the age of AI, and delve into UNESCO's ethical guidelines. Through hands-on activities and collaborative work, you'll learn to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences that empower students and prepare them for the AI-driven world. Don't just adapt; lead the transformation.
What Does The Session Cover?
This CPD equips learners with critical skills for modern educator or instructional designer roles by focusing on the practical integration of technology within established frameworks. Participants learn to leverage SAMR, TPACK, and UDL, updated for AI, to design engaging, accessible learning. They also gain proficiency in using GenAI tools for different purposes guided by the frameworks, while understanding ethical considerations through UNESCO's guidance. Learners can directly apply these skills by redesigning lesson plans, creating AI-enhanced learning activities, and implementing accessible digital content. They can also use their knowledge to advocate for responsible technology integration within their institutions, ensuring ethical and effective use. This empowers educators to adapt to the evolving educational landscape and enhance student outcomes.
