What Is This Session About?
The Skills Framework (SFw) 2.0 & Jobs-Skills Portal eLearning is a self-paced online module that introduces aspiring adult educators to Singapore's latest Skills Framework (SFw) 2.0 and the Jobs-Skills Portal. Learners will gain practical knowledge of how these national initiatives support skills development, workforce planning, curriculum and lesson design, and career development. Through authentic examples and guided activities, participants will learn how to navigate the Jobs-Skills Portal and apply Skills Framework concepts in adult education practice.
What Does The Session Cover?
The eLearning module comprises five bite-sized modules designed to build foundational understanding and practical application of Singapore's Skills Framework (SFw) 2.0 and the Jobs-Skills Portal.
Participants will begin by exploring the purpose, structure and key features of Skills Framework 2.0, and how it supports workforce transformation, skills development and career progression. They will then learn to navigate the Jobs-Skills Portal, including how to locate occupations, job roles, skills information and training pathways.
Building on this foundation, the module demonstrates how adult educators can apply these resources to learning needs analysis, curriculum design and competency-based learning. Participants will also explore how SFw 2.0 can support learners' career development and lifelong learning through informed skills and training decisions.
The module concludes with guidance on integrating Skills Framework 2.0 and the Jobs-Skills Portal into professional practice, including the use of key resources and tools to enhance learning design, facilitation and workforce development.
