What Is This Session About?

Professional expertise has greater impact when it is shared, recognised, and contributes meaningfully to educator communities. This advanced programme equips adult educators and workplace learning professionals to build an authentic professional presence using Google AI tools while remaining grounded in their expertise, values, and professional practice.

Participants learn to define their educator identity, communicate their value proposition, create AI-enhanced professional content, and develop sustainable audience engagement strategies that foster credibility rather than self-promotion. Through reflective activities, guided practice, collaborative critique, and portfolio development, learners produce practical resources that support ongoing professional visibility and community participation.

By the end of the programme, participants will have an AI-enhanced professional brand blueprint that enables them to communicate their expertise confidently, strengthen professional networks, and contribute meaningfully to the adult education and workplace learning community.

Together with System Builder with Google AI: Transforming Learning Workflows with Custom AI Tools, this programme forms the advanced tier of the IAL-Google (ADAPT) series. Participants who complete both programmes will receive a joint IAL-Google certificate.

What Does The Session Cover?

This advanced programme explores how educators can build an authentic professional identity and strengthen their professional presence using AI-supported communication and content creation.

Participants examine educator identity through Communities of Practice, identify their expertise and professional values, and develop positioning statements using Gemini and NotebookLM. They create professional content, define audience engagement strategies, design content pillars, and develop a sustainable professional engagement plan grounded in ethical AI use. This advanced programme also covers educator portfolio development, online professional presence, and long-term professional growth planning.

Through the Thought Leadership Blueprint Challenge, participants integrate their educator identity, professional content, engagement strategy, and portfolio into a practical blueprint that supports meaningful participation in educator communities and ongoing professional contribution.
