Bryan conducts research on the governance of lifelong learning systems, the political economy of skills, and the education-labour interface. His work focuses on generating policy-relevant insights through qualitative research, conceptual analysis and stakeholder engagement.
His current research examines the evolving roles of training providers and adult educators in a changing labour market, instituitional dynamics underpinning education-labour alignment, and the evaluation of national skills and lifelong learning policies. 
He is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Policy at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. He holds a Master of Social Sciences in Polical Science (Governance and Public Policy) from the National University of Singapore, and a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Political Science and Public Policy from the Singapore Management University.
