The ACLP 3.0 is a streamlined version of the previous ACLP. It covers all the Knowledge, and Abilities (Ks and As) within the Technical Skills and Competencies (TSCs) and enable learners to gain and deepen their skillsets in the area of classroom facilitation, assessment, workplace learning, and tech-enhanced learning.

AITP 2.0 is an accelerated pathway comprising only the first two modules of ACLP 3.0, designed for experienced professionals and typically delivered in organisation- or sector-specific contexts. 

There are requirements that you will need to meet in order to attend the programme. The Entry Requirements can be found in the section above.

IAL may request additional documentation to verify your eligibility or may require you to attend an interview to assess your suitability for the programme.

• Learners who do not meet the requirements for English Language proficiencies as required by the respective courses need to take the Workplace Literacy (WPL) – Computer Adaptive Test (CAT) and secure the ES WSQ WPL qualification for listening and speaking reading and writing modalities. • You may also provide other documented evidence of your proficiency in English or be required to attend an interview with IAL to ascertain your suitability for the programme.

At the end of the module, learners will be assessed through oral interviews or presentations, written assignments and practical performances. Practical performances can either be conducted in-person or online.

Throughout the module, learners will also be assessed via various means, including class presentations, demonstrations or practical performances.

Learners who had previously completed the ACLP may apply to attend this PILOT.

ACLP graduates who still wish to enrol in this ACLP 3.0 might like to note that SSG funding can only be applied once for the same course or Technical Skills and Competency. Hence, ACLP graduates who re-enrol into the PILOT ACLP 3.0 will be required to pay full fee for the programme. 

Upon completing ACLP 3.0, you will have acquired strong facilitation, assessment, and workplace learning competencies aligned to current WSQ standards. You will be able to design and deliver engaging learning experiences, conduct fair and valid competency-based assessments, and adapt learning to real workplace contexts. You will also gain practical skills in technology-enhanced learning and the responsible use of Gen AI, enabling you to work more efficiently and effectively as a professional trainer in diverse training environments.

The ACLP certification, a widely recognised industry benchmark, would enable graduates to embark on a career as Learning Facilitators or Trainers, Learning Support, Learning Facilitation, and Learning Management — roles commonly required by training providers and corporate organisations.

Graduates who have completed the WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) have a wide range of pathways to further develop their careers in the Training and Adult Education (TAE) sector.

For those keen on enhancing their facilitation skills, Continual Professional Development (CPD) courses.

Individuals who are more inclined towards curriculum development may consider pursuing the WSQ Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance (DDDLP) to deepen their expertise in instructional design.

For experienced practitioners who have obtained the WSQ ACLP certificate and aspire to specialise in workplace consultancy, the WSQ Graduate Diploma in Workplace Learning offers a structured pathway to develop the necessary competencies.
