As the Director of the Innovation Centre, Soo Kheng seeks to engage the TAE community and learning technologists to develop collaborations to ignite, develop and proliferate learning innovations to raise the quality of adult learning and the standards of adult learning practice. She also oversees innovation support services including efforts to increase receptivity to adoption of proven innovations and scalability and innovation related research. In her previous role as the Director for Research and Innovation, Soo Kheng provides informational and analytic support to decision makers to facilitate strategic planning, policy-making, resource allocation and efforts to strengthen workforce development initiatives and programmes. Part of her responsibility then was also to establish international and local research partnerships, and strategise the dissemination of research outcomes to the wider research, policy and practitioner communities.

Before joining IAL, Soo Kheng held various communications and information management related roles within the public sector.

She holds a Master in Public Management from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts Honours (Philosophy) from the National University of Singapore.

Amy leads the team of Finance, Planning, and Governance at IAL. She oversees the accounting and financial management, planning, and control to achieve the desired strategic and operational outcomes within IAL. In addition, she is also in charge of resource planning, logistics, training facilities management and business continuity planning (BCP), and management in IAL.

Amy is a trained and qualified Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), and a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA). She is also well versed in accounting, financial, strategic, and operational management, including human resource management. Prior to joining IAL, Amy has over 20 years of working experience in other educational institutions in the private sector, holding various senior management positions including that of a general manager position. She has adapted herself well in a public-private environment.

Oriana oversees the institute’s quality management, strategic and operational decision processes, central administration, manpower planning, talent management, and building internal capabilities. With more than 12 years working at American and European Multi-National Corporations in her early career, and the past 15 years holding various positions with SkillsFuture Singapore, her experience spans from business and training management to organizational development and human resources management.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Systems from the National University of Singapore.

Sock Gim leads the communications and international relations efforts at IAL. She oversees media relations, social media marketing and is responsible for the upkeep, growth and increased visibility of the IAL brand. On the international relations front, she has a strong focus in the strategic analysis of foreign Continuing Education & Training markets and spearheads efforts to raise IAL’s thought leadership and standing as a leading institute in adult learning.

Sock Gim has a Bachelor of Science from the National University of Singapore and has more than 15 years of experience in corporate communications.
